Privacy Policy

Againly ("we", "us", "our") operates the Againly Windows desktop application and this website. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how you can control it.
1. Information we collect
1a. Diagnostic telemetry
When you run a diagnosis, Againly collects anonymised signals from your PC to identify the root cause of your issue. This includes:
- Windows event log entries relevant to the reported issue
- Running process and service names
- System resource metrics (CPU, RAM, disk)
- Driver version strings and error codes
We do not collect: personal files, documents, credentials, browser history, passwords, or any content unrelated to the diagnosed issue.
1b. Screenshots
During an active automation session, Againly captures screenshots of your screen to guide the automation. Screenshots are processed in memory and transmitted securely to our AI model for action planning. Screenshots are stored temporarily during the session and uploaded to secure cloud storage for the duration of your task. After task completion, screenshots are retained according to your subscription plan and then automatically deleted.
1c. Authentication data
If you sign in via Google OAuth or email magic link, we receive your email address and OAuth provider identifier from Supabase. We use this to associate your purchase history and subscription status with your account. We do not store your Google password or any OAuth access tokens beyond session duration.
1d. Payment data
Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not see or store your card number, CVC, or any raw payment instrument data. We receive a Stripe Customer ID and payment status. See Stripe's Privacy Policy for full details.
2. How we use your information
- To diagnose and automate fixes for your reported issue
- To verify payment and entitlement before executing an automation
- To provide account and billing management
- To improve our AI models (using anonymised/aggregated diagnostic signals only)
- To send transactional emails (magic link, receipt, refund confirmation)
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
3. Data retention
- Diagnostic telemetry: retained for 30 days after session end, then deleted
- Session screenshots (subscription plans): 90 days, then auto-deleted
- Session screenshots (Automation Packs): retained for 30 days, then auto-deleted
- Account data: retained for the lifetime of your account plus 12 months after deletion request
- Payment records: retained as required by financial regulations (typically 7 years)
4. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your account and associated data
- Object to processing or request restriction
- Receive your data in a portable format

5. Security
All data is transmitted over TLS 1.3. Diagnostic data is processed in isolated compute environments. We use Supabase and Stripe — both SOC 2 compliant service providers — for authentication and payment processing respectively.
6. Changes to this policy
We will notify registered users by email if we make material changes to this policy. Continued use of Againly after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
